FAQs
We’ve answered our most frequently asked questions here for your convenience. Read on to learn more about how our process works and what you can expect from the Heritage Handyman team.
Yes, we provide free estimates on all projects before any work is scheduled or started.
We do not use an hourly rate; we work by estimate only.
Estimates work one of two ways. We prefer to visit your home or business to walk through the project with you. In some cases, when time or distance prevents us from doing so, we may also accept detailed photos and a description of your desired project(s).
Once we have all the details that we need, we always send an estimate in writing that reflects the entire job. Our estimate includes the expectations for Heritage Handyman, you, the client, and your investment. Estimates rarely change unless the scope of the work changes after the project begins or we provide materials that are not included in the original estimate.
All changes will be communicated throughout the process and are subject to client approval.
We offer a few different options so you can pay in the way that’s most convenient for you. We accept payment:
- In-person via check or credit card
- Online via check, ACH, and credit card
We are also proud to offer financing on projects over $1000. (Financing is subject to credit approval.)
We provide a range of services to meet your commercial or home improvement needs. These include but are not limited to, small to medium size jobs such as:
- Door repairs
- Paint touch-ups
- Gutter repairs
- Many more
